Obituary for Laurie B. Bolger

Laurie B. (Anderson) Bolger, 50, of Glenside PA passed away suddenly on May 2, 2018. She was the wife of James J. Bolger. Laurie was born December 5, 1967 to Martha Jean (Kernaghan) Anderson and the late Peter Anderson, Jr., and was raised in Jenkintown. She was a 1985 graduate of Jenkintown High School and a graduate of the University of Georgia where she majored in journalism. After working from many years as an advertising manager, Laurie obtained her BSN through Abington’s nursing school program and became a registered nurse at Chestnut Hill Hospital. Laurie was passionate about spending time with her family and was loved by everyone around her. Along with her husband James and mother Martha Jean, she is survived by her daughters Alissa and Sophia Bolger, her four siblings Peter and John Anderson, Deborah Johnson (Kyle) and Heather Nicoll (Tom Apostolides). Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 12pm at Church of Our Saviour, 821 Homestead Rd., Jenkintown. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Laurie’s name can be made to the Flourtown Center 14 E. Mill Rd., Flourtown PA 19031, or PA Nurse Peer Assistance Program (PNAP) 258 Wolfe Lane, Irwin PA 15642.
