Obituary for James Gallwey

James Gallwey died Monday, March 26, 2018 in Abington Lansdale Hospital, Lansdale Pa. He was 92.

Jim was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.

Mr. Gallwey of North Wales, was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Ambler. He was a huge part of the church and was a member of prison ministries also known as Kairos, where he and a group of other men would go into prisons and have church services for the inmates.

Jim was a Tuskegee Airmen and finished as a 1st Lt. In a time when he was not treated the same as others, Jim put on his brave face and became part of history that no one should ever forget.

He is survived by his wife Veronica; two daughters, Robin Hansen & Piper Jaramillo; three sons; Jeff, Tim, and Paul Gallwey; grandchildren Jacob & Rowan Hansen, Stephen, Isabella and Alexander Gallwey; Step grandchildren Jason Renninger Jr. & William Myers. He also was survived by son’s & daughter’s in law, Boykin Sellers, Rolf Hansen, Julie Gallwey and Michelle Gallwey.

He was predeceased by his son David Gallwey and granddaughter Sarah Jaramillo

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Wednesday April 4th at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church of Ambler, 708 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.
