John Guida, 51, of Maple Glen, PA, passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Gidzinski) Guida. John was born in Trenton, NJ on June 30, 1967 to John and Judy (Grama) Guida. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the College of New Jersey, a Master’s of Science in Engineering from Widener University, and an Executive Master’s in Technology Management from the Wharton School of Business. John worked as a Program Management Director for Commscope, Inc. for over 13 years. John was President of the Salt Water Enthusiast Club, a volunteer for the Democratic Party, a mentor for LaSalle Robotics team, and is on the Parent Organization for Central Bucks Gymnastics. He loved reading, astronomy, and technology. Above all he loved his family.
Along with his wife and parents, John is survived by his four children: Isabella (19), Benjamin (17), Douglas (16), and Mackenzie (14) Guida; and also his brother Glenn Guida of Allentown PA. John is an amazing devoted father and husband, a fun-loving uncle, a cherished son, dear nephew and cousin, a caring friend, an admired brother, and an esteemed colleague who touched countless others in his own life.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the Guida family Sunday June 9th 3pm-5pm for a visitation followed by a memory sharing until 5:30pm. Sunday services are being held at Ciavarelli Family Funeral Home, 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler, PA 19002. Monday services are being held at the family’s church, Chelten Church, 1601 N. Limekiln Pike, Dresher, PA 19025. Visitation from 9am-10am. Church services 10am-11am. All are welcome in faith and love. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Chelten Church for the John Guida Memorial Fund for Education (JGMFFE).
