James H. Serabian, 70, of Ambler, PA, passed away on December 24, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. James was born in Massena, NY on October 19, 1948 to the late Hachig and Anne (D’Arienzo) Serabian. James was a Professor at Montgomery County Community College, where he taught Introduction to Education. He was most proud of being a father. He also enjoyed Astronomy, building stone walls, running his wood business, and golfing. He loved college basketball, especially during March Madness, and often described himself as a “bracketologist”. James is survived by his son Zachary T. Serabian, his loving significant other Mary Frost; his step-son Kevin Kaufman (Gina); and his 2 step-grandchildren: Lucia and Carson Kaufman; his 3 brothers: Arthur, Richard (Carol), Robert (Elise) Serabian. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Serabian. A memorial service will be held at Blue Bell Country Club, 1800 Tournament Drive, Blue Bell, PA 19422 on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 from 1-4pm.
