Obituary for Antonia Zullo

Antonia Zullo, 91, of Conshohocken, died on January 14, 2019 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. She was the beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Zullo. She was born in Sessano Del Molise, Italy on January 13, 1928 to the late Giovanni and Carmella (Valerio) D’Ippolito. Antonia was a loving homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an amazing cook who enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Being raised on a farm in Italy, she was a meticulous gardener, and took great care of her home, and her family. She is survived by her 4 children Maria Grazia Walsh of Collegeville, Antonio Zullo of King of Prussia, John Zullo of Conshohocken, Carmen Zullo of Hatfield, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a brother Settimio “Sonny” D’Ippolito of Glenside, a sister Lucia Viti in Italy, and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by 2 sisters Adelina Colucci and Maria D’Ippolito. Relatives and friends are invited to a Viewing from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Antonia’s memory may be made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, PO Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352.
