Obituary for William Francis Williams

William Francis Williams, 68, of Willow Grove, PA, passed away on December 28, 2017. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Jeanne (Reiser) Williams. Bill was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 12, 1949 to the late Albert and Loretta (Kelly) Williams. He served his country as a U.S. Army Ranger during the Vietnam War. He was the proud owner of Universal Transmissions Tire & Auto for over 40 years. He enjoyed, coin collecting, music, cars, he was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan and most importantly he enjoyed working side by side with his son. He was a dedicated fisherman who loved spending time on the water with his family and friends. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children: Amy Elizabeth Williams, William Francis Williams, Jr., Jenni Ann Williams, Thumbs and Toes, Hoang Nguyen, Nu Nguyen (deceased); 4 grandchildren: Skye Williams, Jaxon Williams, Olivia Strapple and Lulu Williams; 3 brothers: Joseph, Paul and Patrick Williams; 2 sisters: Rosemary Yordy and Loretta Taggart (deceased) and many loving nieces, nephews and close friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Vereinigung Erzgebirge Club, 130 Davisville Road, Warminster, PA 18974 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to The Marine Mammal Stranding Center (mmsc.org).
