Obituary for Vincent John Radatti

Vincent John Radatti, 89, of Conshohocken, died on March 1, 2018 at Kindred Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie (DiSebastiano) Radatti. He was born in Conshohocken, PA on February 2, 1929 to the late Dominic and Anna (Siletta) Radatti. Vincent was a graduate of Conshohocken High School, received his Bachelor degree from Villanova University, and his Masters degree from Drexel University in Electrical Engineering Management. He served our country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict with rank of Private First Class. Vincent was employed at Alan Wood Steel Co., and later for General Electric Space in Valley Forge as an Engineer where he contributed to the Gemini, Apollo, and Mariner Missions. He also worked for the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard as an Electrical Engineer, until his retirement. He was a member of the former SS. Cosmas and Damian Church, was a member and Past Commander for the Andrew Lannutti Italian American Veteran Post, and was a State Commander of the Italian American War Veterans. Vincent also wrote a children’s book titled “Why Would I Want to be an Ant?” which is available on He is survived by his son Peter Vincent Radatti of Conshohocken, his daughter Carol Anne DeCarlucci of Elk Ridge, MD, his grandson Christopher DeCarlucci, and a brother Victor Michael Radatti of Conshohocken. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. The Viewing will be from 8:30-10:00 a.m. at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes, 516 Fayette St., Conshohocken. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Condolences may be made at
