Obituary for Robert T. Kenworthy

Robert T. Kenworthy, 83, of Coatesville, died on May 4, 2018 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Nelda (Palazzo) Kenworthy. He was born in Wilkes Barre, PA on August 14, 1934 to the late Lyddon and Iola (Lutz) Kenworthy. He was a graduate of Temple Tech and Villanova University. He served our country in the US Air Force during the Korea Conflict with rank of Airman 2nd class; he was a flight instructor at Sewart AFB in Tennessee. Robert was employed as a Manager for AT&T for 35 years until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, and was a member of the NRA. In addition to his wife Nelda, he is survived by two daughters Leslie Hoopes (Arthur) of Gordonville, PA, Tracey Caltune (Todd) of Lansdale, PA, 5 grandchildren Amy Arjona (Epifanio) Alyssa Hoopes, Alaina Hoopes, Amanda Schafer, Michael Hoopes, one great-grandchild Epifanio Arjona, Jr., and a sister Edith Hartley (Dr. Robert) of Towson, MD. Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 516 Fayette St., Conshohocken. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s memory may be made to Special Olympics of Montgomery County, 980 Harvest Drive, Suite 203, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
