Obituary for Margaret T. Ebner

Margaret T. Ebner, 80, of Meadowbrook, passed away on January 29, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Ebner. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 20, 1937 to the late Henry J. and Mary J. (Blazer) Barras. Margaret was a graduate of St. Cecelia’s Elementary School and St. Hubert High School. She was employed as a Nurse’s Assistant and later as the Activities Director for St. Joseph’s Manor in Meadowbrook, PA for 37 years until her retirement. St. Joseph’s Manor was a huge part of her life; she enjoyed taking residents on the bus for shopping trips, and planning various activities and craft projects. She was also President of the Resident Council. Margaret is survived by 4 children Timothy Ebner of Ambler, Nancy Ebner of Ambler, Henry Ebner of Willow Grove, Peggy Ann Ricci of Philadelphia, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a sister Joan D’Alessandro of Harleysville. She was pre-deceased by 3 children Robert, Donald, and Helen Ebner, a grandchild Corey Ebner, and a sister Mary Coulter. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Rd., Phila., PA. Visitation with the family from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at church. Interment will be private.
