Obituary for Joseph T. Cero, Sr.

Joseph T. Cero, Sr., 86, of Ambler, died on November 19, 2017 at Abramson Center in North Wales. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan (Logan) Cero. He was born in Mt. Carmel, PA on June 13, 1931 to the late Andrew and Clara (Olmar) Cero. After high school and attending some college, he entered the US Air Force and served our country during the Korean Conflict with rank of Sergeant. Joseph later worked as a Machinist, and was the founder and owner of his own company, Cermac, Inc. He was a long standing and devout member of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church in North Wales. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and boating. He is survived by his 3 children Joseph T. Cero, Jr. of Horsham, Cynthia McCarthy of Mont Claire, NJ, Margaret Malatesta of Buckingham, PA, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, 3 sisters Barbara York, Eleanor Mee, Margaret Madden, and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his siblings Thomas Cero, Francis Cero, Elizabeth Balonis, and Catherine Snyder. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Rd., North Wales, PA. The Viewing will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes, 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler and Wednesday from 9-10 a.m. at the Church. Interment in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
