Obituary for Joseph B. D'Angelo

Joseph B. D’Angelo, 80, of Conshohocken, PA died on July 19, 2017 at Golden Living Community in Phoenixville, PA. He was the loving husband of the late Marie L. (VandenBroeck) D’Angelo. Joseph was born in Conshohocken, PA on October 9, 1936 to the late Anthony and Cecelia (Paparella) D’Angelo. He was a graduate from Conshohocken High School. Joseph was a chemical compounder for Quaker Chemical for many years, and a former member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Church. He served our country in the US Air Force with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Joseph is survived by his children Anthony D’Angelo (Jane) and Rita Messmer (Raymond), 5 grandchildren Lisa Cowan, Christie D’Angelo, Joseph, Bryan, Vincent Messmer, 5 great-grandchildren Samantha, Brooke, Chase Cowan, Emma and Cora Messmer, his brothers Pat (Marie), Albert (Mary) D’Angelo, his sister Claire Dolga (Adam), and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his sisters Mary D’Angelo and Angie Dunn. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service on Monday July 24, 2017 at 10 AM at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 516 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. The Viewing will be held at 8:30-10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Matthew Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joseph’s name can be made to American Diabetes Association 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900 Arlington, VA 22202.
